i wish i knew how to begin this, ive started this post 4 times.
ill start by saying, thank you.

last night was unbelievably amazing. to read to a packed room of complete strangers and have them sit in attention listening to me...to ME. i still cant really comprehend how incredible it was.
the reading began around 845, i read 3 stories then took a break so we could eat pizza, open the windows and turn on the air conditioning because it was blazing. we returned and i read 3 quick stories and then we had a little question and answer session which lasted until around midnight, i think. i tried to spend time with everyone who came but i really couldnt get around to everyone. if i didnt get to personally thank you and give you a hug, i apologize. i will be having another reading sometime in the future. i sold a bunch of cds, let people root around my room, signed a bunch of things and answered every question that was asked until no one had any more questions.

i sat on top of my entertainment center and read stories that meant the world to me. i got to look out and see some of my favorite people and some of my favorite strangers following along with every word. it was an incredible feeling to know that i have such a tremendous amount of support in this world.

to all of those who showed up, it meant the world to me. seriously.
